Step through the midlife portal – fierce, free, and fully alive​

A 6-month group coaching journey for women who are done shrinking, done surviving, and ready to step into the most unapologetic, powerful chapter of their lives.

Wild Woman Awakening is not a fitness program. It’s not a course. It’s a profoundly transformative journey through the five layers of your being – guided by a woman who has walked through the fire and come out the other side.

WHY THIS APPROACH?

Before I can tell you more, I need to tell you this:

Thirteen years ago, my life shattered.

I was widowed by suicide and left to raise two small children – just two and four years old – inside a grief so vast it felt impossible to survive, let alone integrate.

In the years that followed, I did what many women do when life overwhelms the nervous system beyond capacity: I coped the best way I could.

For a time, that included drinking.

Alongside my grief, I carried deep shame. I felt the weight of judgement and disapproval from others – and from myself. And yet, in truth, those coping strategies supported me until I had the capacity to build healthier ones. There is no shame in survival.

One day, caught in a spiral of pain and ego, a thought crossed my mind that still humbles me to this day:

“Well, at least I’m a better parent than their dad – he left us.”

Instantly, another voice rose up inside me. Clear. Calm. Unwavering.

“Is that the standard, Paula?

Is that who you want to be?”

That voice saved me.

She was my higher wisdom. My remembering. My awakening.

From that moment on, I committed to becoming the woman I wanted my children to know… and the woman I could respect.

Over the past 13 years, I have devoted myself to understanding one question:

What creates human suffering – and what allows a woman to truly thrive after adversity?

That devotion took me deep into:

  • Over 500 hours of yoga and embodiment training
  • Two pilgrimages to India
  • Nervous system regulation and neuroscience
  • Integrative women’s health coaching
  • Mentorship, ritual, inquiry, devotion
  • And most importantly – lived, embodied practice

Alongside my own healing, I’ve spent years in clinical practice as a holistic physiotherapist, sitting beside women in their most vulnerable moments.

I have held space for women who have endured fertility journeys and miscarriages, postnatal depression, high-conflict divorces, chronic pain, sexual, physical and emotional abuse, suicidal ideation, burnout, auto-immune disease, and profound disconnection from their bodies and their lives.

I’ve seen it all. And because of that, I know how to sit in the weeds with you. Without fixing. Without rushing. Without bypassing.

I searched for women who inspired me. I struggled to find them. So I chose to become her.

I have never believed in sharing wisdom until it is fully embodied. And now – thirteen years on – I am ready.

What is Wild Woman Awakening?

Wild Woman Awakening is a 6-month intimate group coaching container for women in their 40s and 50s who are ready to go deeper into their true selves as they step through the midlife portal.

Over six months, you’ll journey through the five koshas – an ancient yogic framework that maps the layers of your being from the outermost (your physical body) to the innermost (your bliss and aliveness).

Think of it as stripping back the layers that have built up over decades of doing, coping, performing, and putting everyone else first – so you can finally meet the wild, powerful woman who’s been waiting underneath.

Because women don’t need to be fixed. They need to shed what was never theirs to carry.

Month 1: The Physical Body – Returning Home

We begin where most programs stop. Reclaiming your body as sacred – not a problem to solve. Understanding midlife physiology through a nervous system lens, and moving from punishment to partnership.

Month 2: The Nervous System – From Survival to Aliveness

This is the missing link in most wellness programs. You’ll learn nervous system literacy, breathwork as regulation (not performance), and how to shift states intentionally. You cannot think your way into safety – you must feel it first.

Month 3: The Mind – Rewriting the Stories

Here you meet the conditioned mind. You’ll learn why your brain predicts the future based on the past, how thoughts shape your biology, and how to interrupt the patterns that have been running you.

Month 4: Wisdom – Remembering Who You Are

When the body is rested, the nervous system is regulated, and the mind is quieter, wisdom can finally speak. You’ll reconnect with your inner authority, learn to distinguish intuition from fear, and begin making decisions from deep self-trust.

Month 5: Bliss – Joy Without Conditions

Bliss is not happiness. It’s contentment without conditions – the natural state that remains when resistance dissolves. You’ll reclaim joy, pleasure, play, creativity, and the audacious aliveness that is your birthright.

Month 6: Integration – Living as the Wild Woman

This final month is about embodiment and initiation. Weaving all five layers together into daily life. Wild Woman vows. Vision for your next chapter. A commitment to self-leadership that lasts far beyond this container.

6 x Wild Woman Awakening Workshops (2 hours/month)

12 x Fortnightly Wild Woman Circles with Embodied Practice (1 hour online)

About YOUR COACH

Hi, I’m Paula

I’m a holistic physiotherapist, exercise physiologist, integrative health coach and yoga teacher with over 20 years of experience working with women through every life season.

I’m also a solo mum of two and someone who’s rebuilt her life from deep grief and burnout.

After losing my husband at 35 and being left to raise my two young children alone, I hit a wall. Grief, trauma, adrenal fatigue – it all caught up with me. But something inside me knew a different life was possible.

That voice led me to yoga, to coaching, and eventually to a profound journey of healing and purpose.

Now, I guide other women through their own transitions — whether that’s perimenopause, loss, exhaustion, or simply a sense that something has to change.

Your questions, answered:

Do I need to have done a program with Paula before to join?

Not necessarily – but this program is designed for women who already have some relationship with my work and philosophy. If you’ve trained with me, attended a workshop, or been part of my community for a while, you’re likely a great fit. If you’re brand new to this world, Learn to Lift is the perfect starting point.

I’m not very “spiritual” – is this too woo for me?

This journey is grounded in neuroscience, physiology, and clinical experience as much as it is in yogic philosophy. I don’t ask you to believe anything – I'm inviting you to experience it in your body. If you’re curious and open, that’s enough.

What if I can’t make a live session?

All workshops and circles will be recorded and available for you to watch in your own time. That said, the magic of this container is in the live experience and the sisterhood. I encourage you to prioritise being with us live where possible.

How is this different from your other programs or membership?

My other offerings focus on building physical strength, movement confidence, and body trust. Wild Woman Awakening goes far deeper – it’s a 6-month journey through the emotional, energetic, mental, intuitive, and spiritual layers of your being and it's much more personalised and intimate.

What’s the time commitment?

Expect approximately 4 hours per month in live sessions (one 2-hour workshop + two 1-hour circles). Between sessions, there are daily practices that take 5–15 minutes. The real commitment is to yourself – to showing up, being honest, and allowing the process to unfold.

Is there a payment plan?

Yes. You can pay in full up-front ($5,000) or choose the 6-month payment plan of $835/month. Payment begins when you enrol and continues monthly for the duration of the program.
