Hi, I’m Paula – a holistic physiotherapist, exercise physiologist, strength trainer, and women’s wellness coach.
I’ve spent more than 20 years supporting women through the biggest transitions of their lives – pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, grief, burnout, and everything in between.
And I’ve been through my own share of life’s curveballs too.
I was widowed when my kids were very young, and I’ve moved through deep grief, health challenges, and hormonal changes of my own to create the vibrant life I live today.
So when I talk about rebuilding strength from the inside out, I’m not speaking from theory – I’ve lived it.
I know how hard it can be to feel strong and steady in a changing body – especially when most fitness advice doesn’t speak to where you are in life.

I hold a Bachelor of Exercise Science and a Masters of Physiotherapy. I’m also a qualified yoga teacher and integrative health coach. I’ve worked in hospitals, private practice, and now as a key part of the team at Vera Wellness in the Samford Valley.

While many Nourish members have come through Learn to Lift, this membership is open to any woman who's ready for ongoing strength training and holistic wellness support. If you're new to lifting, you'll find plenty of guidance to help you progress safely.
Not at all. This membership is designed to meet you exactly where you are.
Whether you’re completely new to strength training or returning after a break, I’ll guide you step-by-step. You can modify exercises and go at your own pace – there’s zero pressure to “keep up.”
That’s okay – this isn’t an all-or-nothing plan.
Most women train 2–3 times per week, but it’s completely flexible and designed to work with your life, not against it. Even one or two sessions a week can make a difference, and you’ll still feel supported the whole way through.
That’s totally normal – and absolutely okay.
This program isn’t about perfection. It’s about building consistency with care. You’ll have access to the full program through the FITR app*, so you can pause, come back, and keep going when it works for you. You can also repeat the program again if you want to follow along with the next cohort.
*It's best to start your program on a Monday (you'll be asked to input a start date in the FITR app) so that the training schedule aligns nicely for you.
Not at all. My programs have been created specifically for women who are newer to strength training, or returning after a long break.
You’ll learn proper form, build confidence gradually, and feel supported through every phase. No one’s pushing you to max out — we’re building strength that lasts.
Most sessions are between 10–60 minutes, depending on your energy, time, and what your body needs that day.
The app we use gives you the flexibility to choose the right length and type of movement – strength, mobility, yoga, or rest.
Just a pair of dumbbells (or kettlebells) and a yoga mat. If you have access to more, great – but it’s not required. I’ll show you how to get results with simple tools at home or in a gym.
Yes – you’ll receive easy instructions to download the FITR app, where all your workouts, yoga flows, journaling prompts, and other resources will live. It’s simple to use and keeps everything in one place.
Yes, you’ll be supported the entire way. You’ll get access to the Nourish Membership Private Facebook Group. This is a private online group where I check in weekly, answer questions, and where other women are showing up just like you. It’s a safe, encouraging space.
